The Pickled Pear stands in the main street of Bega. The 1870’s house has been lovingly restored and renovated to give it a new lease of life as Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

Three individual guest bedrooms are available. Two have dormer windows and ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom has a conservatory spa bathroom and a small private sitting room.

Linger over a leisurely breakfast, treat yourself to a pre-arranged dinner, where Wendy uses many of the local delicacies. Picnic hampers for lunches are available.

People come to Bega to do the things that modern life denies them – to talk, to walk, to read or just sit by the open fire.

Discover weekend markets, nearby secluded beaches, and glorious country surroundings.

Be enticed by the famous local cheeses. Discover galleries in the area, enjoy a game of golf, or go fishing at the nearby national trust wharf.

The Pickled Pear offers opportunities for all these pursuits and many more.

Tariff:

Queen / Spa / Suite - $160 dbl, $125 single.

King / Ensuite - $130 dbl, $105 single.

Twin / Ensuite - $99 dbl, $88 single.

Dinner: $38 per person.

No facilities for children.
