Information on Eden & surrounding areas is available.   Bookings can be made, especially for the whale watching season (September and November), which is a wonderful time to visit Eden and explore the South Coast.

The natural beauty of TwoFold Bay is enhanced by the surrounding state forest and national parks.   From magnificent unspoiled beaches & coast line to rugged hills, one can see the diverse environment contrasts.  Abundant coastal flora and fauna, including grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies, wombat, goannas, black cockatoo, king parrots and rosellas to name a few.

The area abounds in history from Davidsons Whaling Station, Boydtown to the whaling era (1834-1930)

The history of Eden is based on the whaling era (1843 - 1930). Eden was the only place in the world where killer whales actually herded other whales into Twofold Bay for the whalemen. Their reward was the whale tongues. "Old Tom's" skeleton, our most famous killer whale, is displayed in the Eden Whale Museum.

During Sept - Nov whales feed their young in the waters off Eden on their migration south.   Each year the numbers have increased and last year we had excellent sightings.

Whale Watching Cruises are for 1/2 a day in conjunction with 'Cat Balou Cruises'.

However, Christmas/New Year Holidays and Easer bookings cancelled between 1 and 21 days of booked arrival date, will incur full loss of deposit.
